Emma Watson Banned from Driving in UK for Six Months

According to cinemadrame News Agency, Emma Watson, known for her role as Hermione Granger in the “Harry Potter” films, has been banned from driving in the UK for six months. This marks the fourth time in two years that she has violated speeding laws, most recently driving at 38 mph in a 30 mph zone.

British publications report that Watson’s driving ban is for a duration of six months. In July 2024, Watson was caught speeding in her Audi in Oxford and was fined £1,044.
The BBC reports that the 35-year-old actress did not appear in court, but her lawyer stated that the fine has been paid. Watson is currently studying at Oxford University.
In an unusual coincidence, Zoë Wanamaker, who co-starred with Watson in “Harry Potter,” was also fined for speeding on the same day and in the same court. The actress, who played Madam Hooch, must pay £1,044 for speeding in late August and will also lose her driving privileges for six months.
